The Toronto Maple Leafs hit the ice for practice on Wednesday and Leafs' fans had a nice surprise.
Starting goalie Frederik Andersen fully took part in practice sharing the ice with Michael Hutchinson.
Many were hoping that Andersen would be able to start Thursday, however that doesn't seem to be the case.
There's some good news though, Andersen and head coach Mike Babcock both gave their predictions on when they think Andersen could be back.
Andersen is aiming for a return on Saturday against the Boston Bruins while Babcock believes that Monday's game against the Colorado Avalanche is more realistic.
With Saturday considered earliest, it looks like Kasimir Kaskisuo will probably get another call up.
Mike Babcock says he’s looking at Andersen return for Monday against Colorado. Michael Hutchinson in line, at the very least, for another start tomorrow in New Jersey. https://t.co/TiAAS5tUEg
