Toronto Maple Leafs' general manager Kyle Dubas met with the media to discuss the first day of free agency.
Dubas was one of the first GM's to get a deal done as Toronto signed free agent forward Wayne Simmonds.
While Dubas addressed adding some more grit, he hasn't addressed the blueline yet.
However Dubas did confirm that free agent defenseman Alex Pietrangelo is a target.
Dubas confirmed to reporters that while he hasn't talked to Pietrangelo directly, the Leafs have remained in constant contact with Pietrangelo's agent.
Kyle Dubas confirms that the #leafs have spoken with agent Don Meehan on Alex Pietrangelo. He told them what the team's "limitations" are contract-wise.
