The Toronto Maple Leafs lost a tough one to the Vancouver Canucks last night but they had a bigger loss in the dressing room.
Canucks' defenseman Alex Edler kneed Zach Hyman on a sequence near the players benches that looked very ugly.
Hyman went tumbling and left the game permanently after the play.
Edler was given a five minute major and a game misconduct on the play.
This morning the NHL announced that Edler will be having a hearing with the league.
More details to come later on.
Vancouver’s Alexander Edler will have a hearing today for Kneeing Toronto’s Zach Hyman.
