The Toronto Maple Leafs released their second update regarding defenseman Jake Muzzin.

Just a little while after the NHL announced there wouldn't be any discipline for Pierre-Luc Dubois for the cross check, the Maple Leafs released their second official update.

"After being transported to hospital following an on-ice collision last night, Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Jake Muzzin is back at the team's hotel.

Muzzin was discharged overnight but will not be available to the club for the duration of it's series versus the Columbus Blue Jackets as a result of his injury. He will remain in quarantine within hotel and look to rejoin his teammates upon recovery."

So while we won't see him for awhile, it's good news that the defenseman is at least back with his teammates at the moment.
