The Toronto Maple Leafs got their first win against the Columbus Blue Jackets in their best of five series on Tuesday.

While the team got a big win, they also might have take a huge loss.

Defenseman Jake Muzzin who was having an incredible game was taken off the ice on a stretcher after a bit of a dirty play.

Muzzin was on the ice for awhile before he was finally stretched off and the Leafs just released their first update on the defenseman.

“Maple Leafs defenceman Jake Muzzin was transported to hospital following an on-ice collision in the third period tonight. He is alert and able to move all limbs. Further updates will be provided once available.“

Lots of questions remain, especially since he had to leave the bubble.

For now, the news is positive and that’s all that matters.
