The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a free agent signing on Friday.

Struggling to find some help up front, Dubas is taking a shot on a oft injured forward.

The Leafs signed forward Ondrej Kase most recently of the Boston Bruins.

Kase has always shown great potential but has consistently been sidelined by injuries.

Kase has never played a full season in the NHL and only played 3 games this past season.

He joins the Leafs on a 1 year deal worth $1.25million.
