The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a contract extension on Wednesday morning. 

Dubas announced that the team has signed forward Pierre Engvall to a two year contract extension which carries an AAV of $1.25million. 

Engvall has 14 points in 35 games with the Leafs so far this season. 

The 23 year old was drafted by the Leafs in the seventh round of the 2014 NHL Draft.
