The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a contract extension on Thursday. 

While the hot topic across Leafs' nation is the 2020-21 defensive group, Dubas as signed one forward to an extension. 

The Leafs announced that they've signed forward Adam Brooks to a two year two way contract which carries an AAV of $725k. 

Brooks was able to dress for seven games with the Leafs' so far this season and registered three assists. 

The 24 year old also played in 29 games with the Marlies where he put up 20 points including nine goals.
