The Toronto Maple Leafs announced a contract signing on Tuesday night.

General manager Kyle Dubas avoided arbitration by coming to terms with forward Ilya Mikheyev.

It’s a a two-year contract extension with an average annual value of the contract is $1.645 million.

Far from the $2.7million the Soup Man wanted bit more realistic than the flat $1million the Leafs filed for.

More to come.
