The NHL made an announcement regarding Zach Hyman this morning.
The NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Hyman has been punished for last night's high stick on Winnipeg's Neal Pionk.
Hyman has been fined $5000 for the high stick, the maximum allowable under the CBA.
The Leafs' forward received a two minute penalty on the play.
Maybe it’s just me. But did anyone else notice the Maple Leafs Zach Hyman appearing to feign injury after he had highsticked the Jets Neil Pionk in the face? The pair were both using their sticks on each other in their battle for position around the Jets net pic.twitter.com/msQiBNzahE
