The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to bounce back from their tough loss on Monday Night against the Ottawa Senators.
Over the last couple of weeks we continue to hear about how the Leafs want to bring in another winger to ideally play with John Tavares and William Nylander on the second line.
The latest name we've heard is Mikael Granlund of the Nashville Predators who could definitely produce with Tavares and Nylander.
However according to one TSN Analyst, John Tavares doesn't produce anymore.
Despite Tavares having 15 points in 16 games after having 60 in 63 last year, TSN's Craig Button says Tavares isn't a point producer anymore.
Button added that Tavares and his $11million salary is still a valuable player but people have to accept he's not a point producer anymore and needs to find other ways to perform.
What do you think about Button's comments?
Button on TSN says John Tavares is not an elite point producer anymore, he's not going to get those opportunities anymore. Goes on to say he's still valuable and still a good player, just needs to find different ways to perform, he and other people have to accept where he's at.
