The Toronto Maple Leafs players and management group met with the media on Thursday to recap the season and look towards 2019-20.
General manager Kyle Dubas faced a huge amount of questions and answered every single one of them.
The most interesting thing came when Dubas was asked about head coach Mike Babcock and forward Nazem Kadri.
Dubas wasn't willing to commit to either Babcock or Kadri being back next year.
He kind of dodged the question and will now have fans and media speculating about what might happen this summer.
Kyle Dubas said he wouldn’t give any guarantee about anyone’s status (Babcock, Kadri, etc) within the organization, himself included. Said Shanahan will evaluate him first, and then further evaluations will be made.
