The Toronto Maple Leafs are on fire and have really found their game under new head coach Sheldon Keefe.
While the NHL team is enjoying success, we've heard about some disgruntled AHL players who feel they'll never get a fair shot at the NHL because of the Leafs stacked roster.
Jeremy Bracco, Dmytro Timashov and Ben Harpur have all asked to be traded out of the Maple Leafs' organization.
The three players can't really fetch a huge return and that's why NHL insider Elliotte Friedman believes something else is brewing.
Out of the three the one that could garner the most return and interest is Jeremy Bracco.
While appearing on Sportsnet590 recently, Friedman revealed that there is strong interest in Bracco and the price is higher than most think. He added that it's more than likely that the Leafs will use Bracco as a piece in a bigger deal.
Could this be a way for the Leafs to land another rental defenseman?
Elliotte Friedman on SN590 earlier today: Asking price for Bracco is high, other teams have asked about Bracco in the past. After he reported Bracco's availability, some people are wondering if the Leafs want to use Bracco as a piece in a bigger deal.
