The Toronto Maple Leafs have been pretty tight lipped when it comes to Auston Matthews' injury.
We've seen him skating recently in a non contact jersey and by himself, the forward could be getting closer to a return.
The 20 year old superstar was in a red non contact jersey once again on Monday, however this time he was participating in full line rushes.
The Leafs have a couple of days off before their back to backs against the Dallas Stars on home Wednesday followed by a road matchup with the Sabres in Buffalo Thursday. They'll return home after that for a matchup with the Montreal Canadiens at the ACC on Saturday.
Fans will be hoping that Matthews can return to the lineup soon, however head coach Mike Babcock said the team will wait until he's "over ready".
More to come.
