The Toronto Maple Leafs take their high scoring offense to Dallas to take on one of the hottest goalies to start the season, Ben Bishop.

Toronto has scored 13 goals, however they've also given up 13 goals and sit at 2-1-0  to start the season.

Leafs star Auston Matthews has eight points in three games including five goals and was named the NHL's first star of the week. Matthews will look to become the sixth player in franchise history to score a goal in each of the team's first four games. The Leafs star forward had high praise for Kasperi Kapanen who jumped onto Matthews' line on Sunday.

Head coach Mike Babcock has made a lineup change as he's scratched Andreas Johnsson in favour of Frederik Gauthier as Gauthier will make his season debut. Gauthier will center a line between Josh Leivo and Tyler Ennis, Ennis was dropped to the fourth in favour of Kapanen on the first.

Stars' goalie Ben Bishop was third star of the week after only allowing one goal in two games while making 62 saves for a 0.50 goals against average and .984 save percentage.

This will also be Connor Carrick's first game against the Leafs after being traded to Dallas on October 1st.

Frederik Andersen will go up against Bishop between the pipes and the game can be seen on TSN4.
