The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to give the home crowd something to cheer about as they welcome the Dallas Stars to town on Thursday night.
The Leafs are currently undefeated on the road with a 5-0-0 record but have posted just a 3-4-0 record at home.
Toronto will also be looking for their first win without superstar Auston Matthews in the lineup, and head coach Mike Babcock hasn't been happy with the teams inconsistency.
"We look like a real good team some nights and other nights we're not," Babcock said on Wednesday. "We have to find a way to do it right every day and have internal accountability to make each other do it right."
Babcock is looking to give his team a spark as he's scratched both Martin Marincin and Igor Ozhiganov for tonight's game in favour of Travis Dermott and Justin Holl on the blueline.
Holl is getting his first taste of action this season after being made a healthy scratch for the team's first 12 games, while Dermott had been sidelined the last three games because of illness.
The Stars will be without forward Alexander Radulov who continues to deal with a lower-body injury.
Frederik Andersen gets the start for the Leafs while backup goalie Anton Khudobin gets the start for the Stars.
Here's a look at tonight's full projected lineups for both teams:
