The NHL and NHLPA are closing to finalizing a new CBA.

While it still has to be officially approved by the NHLPA, multiple sources say it's good to go and many have already started to analyze some of the details.

One of those details involves a pay bump for the league minimum and that will add a couple of extra bucks into Mitch Marner's pocket.

CapFriendly points out the details:

"With the NHL minimum salary increasing to $775,000 in 2024-25, #Leafs forward Mitch Marner will see an extra $25,000 added to his contract that year.

It also means that his AAV will go from $10,893,000 to $10,897,167. An increase of $4,167."

"Anyone with a base salary under $775,000 in 2024-25, and $800,000 in 2025-26."
