The Toronto Maple Leafs made a couple of roster moves this week when the Marlies were approved to start their season.

Adam Brooks, Nick Robertson and Rasmus Sandin were all sent to the Marlies to the disappointment of all three.

Sandin had complained about ice time and was assigned to the AHL after finally getting NHL action in while Robertson was held out of the World Juniors because the Leafs thought he was in the plans for the season.

While Robertson is disappointed, he remains focused.

"My mindset is where I am right now and I'm with the Marlies. As far as getting another shot with the Leafs, that's out of my control right now. I have to focus on getting back into game shape and getting my game back where it needs to be."

Some analysts have pointed out how it's very interesting the Leafs decided to roll the dice on Alex Galchenyuk instead of keeping Robertson with the NHL group.

What do you think of Robertson's comments?
