The Toronto Maple Leafs have been really ramping up their training camp lately as they've been playing full ice scrimmages everyday.
Unfortunately with such a ramp up, sometimes an injury can happen.
That seems to be the case for one Maple Leafs' forward.
According to Jonas Siegel of The Athletic, Zach Hyman is currently dealing with an injury after taking a shot to the league on Friday. He didn't practice Saturday morning and as per NHL rules, there's no update regarding the forward.
As if that wasn't enough, there was another scary moment on Saturday as well.
William Nylander went crashing into the sideboards after a collision with Morgan Rielly.
Nylander clearly looked in pain but looked better after a brief rest.
Nick Robertson is skating today in place of Zach Hyman on a line with Auston Matthews and William Nylander. Hyman took a shot to the leg during special teams work on Friday, and briefly sat out. He is not practising today.

Scary moment during Leafs scrimmage: William Nylander goes hard into sideboards in collision with Morgan Rielly. Nylander went straight to the bench grimacing. He now looks to be OK though.— Jonas Siegel (@jonassiegel) July 18, 2020
