The Toronto Maple Leafs put together a bit of a statement win last night as they took down the Predators in Nashville.
It was a much needed win after a bit of a tough stretch by the Leafs before their bye week and All-Star game.
Unfortunately while the Leafs' won the game, they lost a key forward during the game as Kasperi Kapanen was caught up in an awkward sequence.
While Kapanen was forced to leave and not come back, there was some good news after the game.
Head coach Sheldon Keefe said X-rays were negatives and he didn't need to wear a sling or anything.
Kapanen will undergo some more tests today.
Keefe says X-rays negative on Kapanen's arm, will be re-evaluated tomorrow Kasperi spotted post-game ... no sling or anything Apparently injury happened when he missed check & slammed into board/glass awkwardly
