We have an indication that the NHL Department of Player Safety didn't like the Mikhail Sergachev headshot on Mitch Marner.

Sergachev will have a hearing today for the hit, but of course with the Department of Player Safety's lack of consistency that's no guarantee he'll be suspended for it.

It's clear it was a dirty play even if Sergachev was only assessed a two minute penalty for it.

After the game Leafs' captain John Tavares called it straight up dirty.

"I thought it was dirty. Clips him right in the head. Just want to go in there & be there for my teammate. I just didn't like the hit."

"We want that stuff out of our game."

What do you think of Tavares' comments?
